This can either be assumed to be constant (as in Bourke) or calculated from the simulation. Acceptable values of temperature range between 10K and 50K. We tested 11K, 50K as well as values chosen from the simulations. We then used this excitation temperature to see how well the temperature model correlated with the density model.
