\section{Methods}
\subsection{Bacterial Strains and Knockout Construction }
\textit{F. tularensis} LVS strains used in this study were provided by two different laboratories. The strain designated as \textit{F. tularensis} LVS-1 was provided by the J.F. Huntley laboratory at the University of Toledo (from ATCC). LVS-1 was the parental strain use to generate both \textit{ΔdsbA} and \textit{ΔdipA} mutants. The strain designated as \textit{F. tularensis} LVS-2 was provided by the J. Horzempa laboratory at West Liberty University
(from ????). (originally provived by Karen Elkins). LVS-2 was the parental strain used to generate both \textit{ΔdeoB} and \textit{ΔiglC} mutants.
Isogenic deletion mutants of \textit{dsbA} and \textit{dipA} were generated as previously described in Ren et al., Mol. Microbiol, 94(4), 2014, PMID: 25257164 and Wu and Huntley, Bio-Protocol, 5(12), 2015, PMID: 26137499
