So it appears true for lots of them.  It is more obvious when one states that $99999/9=88888/8$. More generally it appears true that for seqences $d_1d_2\cdots d_N$, $e_1e_2\cdots e_N$ of the same number of digits (! important). Denoted $\Delta_i d_i$,...  \begin{equation}  \frac{(\Delta_i d_i ;; n)}{\Delta_i d_i} = \frac{(\Delta_i e_i ;; n)}{\Delta_i e_i}  \end{equation}
