One can create a formal definition which yeilds such a result that \begin{equation}  \frac{df(x)}{d\mathbb{I}}=\frac{f(x)-f((1-\delta)x)}{\delta} \lim_{\delta \to 0}\frac{df(x)}{d\mathbb{I}}=\frac{f(x)-f((1-\delta)x)}{\delta}  \end{equation}
