\section{Literature review} I will perform a literative review to answer the following question and investigate the research questions with the most relevance.   \begin{itemize}  \item What is the overall contribution of individual lifestyle changes towards more sustainable behaviour? How could this be measured in terms of energy savings, GHG emissions, environmental footprint, etc.?  \item What are the factors affecting the successful promotion of sustainable lifestyles? How sustainable are these factors in keeping individuals adhere to the changes in practiced lifestyles? What are the main causes for individuals to dismiss sustainable behaviour and revert back to their previous lifestyle in the long term?  \item What are the motives and drivers behind living a sustainable lifestyle?  \item What is the relation between post-material values, anti-consumption and frugality?   \item Does anti-consumption for sustainability requires consumers to have had experienced affluence?   \item Does green consumption mostly satisfy environmental concerns and does anti-consumption for sustainability satisfy environmental concerns as well as self-interested issues?  \item How can technological design requirements help to raise awareness and to motivate for changing towards sustainable behaviour?  \end{itemize}
