Where $I$ denotes Incidence, μu+θu denote mortality (untreated) and self-cure (untreated), respectively, $\delta$ denotes the rate of removal from U through detection and treatment, $\mu_T + \theta_T$ denote mortality (treated) and cure, respectively. At equilibrium, the above two equations simplify to:   $I = frac{U}{d_U}$ \frac{U}{d_U}$  $\delta U = \frac{T}{d_T}$
