Our results show that the merging of quasars induces black hole activity i.e. accretion.   We have produced evidence of that galaxy mergers induce black hole accretion and start formation. This is perhaps proof to the claim that: "AGN pairs denote a special population of galaxy pairs, in which the central SMBHs of both galaxies are  actively accreting at the same time" \cite{Liu_2012}.  There are clear selection effects and biases, however, the more we do this, the more we overcome those. We have observed that mergers increase AGN activity which translates to enhanced (increased) jet or radio activity, and we can now conclude that perhaps the most active AGN today may be the result of the merging of smaller galaxies.
