Replace this text with your caption you should also mention what the points in the plots aren't uniformly distributed. Hint: it has to do wiht the fact the spectroscopic fibres have a width of 2 arcseconds, that sets minimum angular separation, which translates to an increasing spatial separation as a function of redshift.   Also, the higher the redshift, the larger the volume you probe and therefore the higher the source density on the sky.
