Plot is based on the abundance of the "Other glycan degradation" (KO00155) pathway found in the 15 meals when grouped by dietary pattern. When a false discovery rate (FDR) correction is applied, the difference is not significant (*p* = 0.678,) but no effort was made to reduce the number of camparisons, either by filtering out very rare functional categories or by removing functional categories that are not relevant to microbial metabolism (Arg. Should I try to do this??)
