For the less dispersive mode I chose \(\lambda=750 nm\) and for the more dispersive mode I chose \(\lambda=1700 nm\) First thing to note is the difference in mode intensities for each, \(\lambda=750 nm\) having an intensity that goes up to \(\approx .08 a.u\) compared to \(\lambda=1700 nm\) having an intensity \(\approx .05 a.u\). For the less dispersive mode you can size much more of the mode is more confined compared to the more dispersive mode. The more dispersive mode spends much more time in the cladding then in the actual waveguide.
