Results

The final reconstruction of the C. Elegans can be seen in figure 8. The reconstruction was done using the diffraction pattern pictured in figure 5. The diffraction pattern was created by taking 64 exposures and adding them, subtracting a dark frame for each exposure. The diffraction pattern was symmetrized about the center and had a mask placed in the center. The error was \(\sim\) 8% with the highest spatial frequency being \(\sim\) 250 pixels. The object has a clear worm-like shape with a long body and a hook at the bottom, which resembles our original worm shown in figure 7. Two spots next to worm were probably caused by aberrations on the glass slide that the worm was mounted on. The pixel size is 36 microns in the x direction and 51 microns in the y direction. This corresponds to an estimated support size of 28 (x), 20 (y). The oversampling ratio was \(\sim\) 20 in the x direction and \(\sim\) 14 in the y direction.
