Let us made a practical comparison between two systems treated differently. We consider the double dot system coupled capacitatively. First we use the crude approximation that all transition rates depend on tunneling rates which change depending on the charge state. Then we consider two type of tunneling rates \(\gamma\) when the other dot is occupied by an electron, or \(\Gamma\) when the other dot is empty. Then we use our previous calculation based on master equation transport theory and plot the drive and drag currents.
