As expected when the robot passed over a tag the response was much more prompt. However, since the large spacing still meant that the robot could move undetected one final setup was tested.  For the final setup the tags were arranged into a square grid, but this time the spacing was much smaller. We measured the maximum distance at which the reader could detect a tag to be approximately 7 cm. The spacing was thus set to 14 cm (just enough so that the area was covered with no overlap).
