# Methods  We searched PubMed from time to time during 2015 using the search strategy: ("Tic Disorders"[MeSH] OR Tourette NOT Tourette[AU]) AND 2015[PDAT] NOT 1950:2014[PDAT]) On 30 Nov 2015 this 2015[PDAT]. This  search returned 186 202  citationswhile  on 24 April 2016 214 articles were identified.  “("Tic Disorders"[MeSH] OR Tourette NOT Tourette[AU]) AND 2015[PDAT] NOT 1950:2014[PDAT]”. THIS SHOULD BE REMOVED? 22 Jan 2016.  We also reviewed F1000Prime recommendations and presentations of interest at selected medical conferences. Articles were chosen based on a purely subjective assessment of interest, guided by our judgment of their possible future impact on the field.
