##Additional reference sources  David Shprecher and colleagues recently published a thoughtful, forward-looking, but concise review of Tourette research and treatment \citep{26645901}.\citet{26440120} describe how increased motor control occurs in TS adolescents along with a variety of compensatory mechanisms. These researchers make the case that increased inhibitory capacity within higher-order motor regions, such as the SMA, may adjust motor excitability.  Mary Robertson \citep{26359614,26359615,26360067,26360068} reviews work that she and colleagues have done during her 35-year career treating TS patients and her 30 years of publishing TS research. \citet*{Jankovic_2015} provided an overview of tic treatments, and one of our colleagues highly recommended the following review of current medication treatment practice in Germany: \citep{24888751}. \citet{26440120} describe how increased motor control occurs in TS adolescents along with a variety of compensatory mechanisms. These researchers make the case that increased inhibitory capacity within higher-order motor regions, such as the SMA, may adjust motor excitability. \citet{26074752} summarize evidence suggesting that autonomic dysfunction may have a role in both epilepsy and Tourette Syndrome. They also discuss how electrodermal activity biofeedback reduced seizure activity significantly in patients with epilepsy. In contrast, TS subjects had difficulty reducing sympathetic activity, suggesting that treatment protocol modifications are needed for TS.  In December, 2015, a [special issue on Tourette Syndrome](http://link.springer.com/journal/40474/topicalCollection/AC_201b22404b6bf194b90bbc19462a5d9f/page/1) appeared in the new journal *Current Developmental Disorders Reports*. Four of the 5 articles are clinically focused \citep{Budman_2015,Hanks_2015,Coffey_2015,McGuire_2015}. The other article summarizes some of the recent advances in TS neuroimaging \citep{26543796}.
