A review article summarizes some of the recent advances in TS neuroimaging \citep{26543796}.  This review describes how increased motor control occurs in TS adolescents along with a variety of compensatory mechanisms (Jackson et al.: "Inhibition, Disinhibition, and the Control of Action in Tourette Syndrome"). \cite{26440120}.  These researchers make the case that increased inhibitory capacity within higher-order motor regions, such as the SMA, may adjust motor excitability. ### Online resources  Abstracts of presentations from the 1st World Congress on Tourette Syndrome & Tic Disorders, London, 24-26 June 2015, are [available online](http://touretteworldcongress.org/). The Tourette Association posts links to selected scientific articles relevant to TS on its web page at regular intervals \cite{TA_links}. One of the authors provides a link at PubMed.gov to an occasionally updated list of selected publications on TS \cite{NCBI_TShighlights}.
