\subsubsection{Excessive Smoothnes} Smoothness}  The smoothness requirement is enforced in the square root, to soften it, but nonetheless it causes occasionallu occasionally  to fail to capture details of the observed variations in time behavior: the lightcurve is excessively smooth. Due to the intrinsic shape of the lightcurve, it looks like the fit is leading the time behavior, but in fact, looking at the log space plot, and thinking about shifting the lightcurve to fit the peak, one can convince oneself that the issue is in fact that the lightcurve are ``rectified'' due to the smoothness requirement. This is the case for SN 1993J B band, and SN 2011fu B band.
