Convex hull of the La-Cu-S-O system computed using GGA+U. We used $U$ values consistent with the materials project: $U = 4.0$eV for oxides and $U = 1.9$eV for sulfides, with $4.0$eV used for oxysulfides. The GGA+U correction $\Delta E_M = -0.747$eV. \label{fig:lcso-hull}
