As far as what kind of criteria was reported for eligibility of inclusion, over half of abstracts did not list a comparative group of any kind (Figure 4); nor did they include the publication status of the articles that they were using for their data (Figure 5).  As far as inclusion criteria among the three journals, The Lancet Oncology included participant descriptions the most often at about 73 percent (Figure 15). Clinical Cancer Research included the publication information the most often at about 53 percent (Figure 16), and the two journals tied at the percentage of abstracts that included the inclusion criteria objective at about 83 percent (Figure 17.)
