Figure 5. Measured $\delta$^{13}C. $\delta$^{18}O and T($\Delta$_{47} T($\Delta$_{47})  values forthe  two sections DLR7(A) sampling transects across vein DLR7. (A) DLR7,  and DLR7(i)(B) (B) DLR7(i). The data are  plotted as a function of position measured from a datum close to the base of the vein. Note that the two sections are displaced from each other and their datum is not the same. The grey bands mark positions in the vein where there is a sudden transition in both the $\delta$^{18}O and T($\Delta$_{47}) values for the sample. The $\delta$^{18}O values show a marked  positive step whilst the T($\Delta$_{47}) value shows in $\delta$^{18}O accompanied by  a negative step. step in T($\Delta$_{47}).
