The survey and its pilot will use On-the-Fly scanning to cover the sky with high efficiency. In order to do this, the overheads incurred at scan start and turnaround between scans (typically around 18s) must be minimized, with "stripe" durations of 3 minutes or longer desirable.  The scan rate used depends upon the desired imaging rms noise level along with the row separation, as described in \S~\ref{sec:setup-scanrate}. At the SSG telecon on 23-May-2016, the results of a poll of interested SSG members was reported, and the row separation of $\theta_{row}=7^\prime.2$ was decided upon. For a nominal on-sky survey speed of $SS=23.82$~deg$^2$/hr, a scan rate of $\dot{\theta}=3^\prime.31$/sec is implied.
