The acquisition paradigm consisted of a .wmv video shown in a computer screen that contained alternating 6,0 $\pm$ 0,1 6,0$\pm$0,1  s blocks of rest and task. As indicated in figure \ref{fig:paradigm}, the resting period was designated with a big blue cross, while for each task the even, odd, natural, Fibonacci, product and fractions sequences were displayed. The volunteer (male, right handed) did additions or multiplications from those numeric series, which had been previously proposed as a simple way to facilitate the termination of the task once the block duration ends. The same subject repeated the paradigm three times, though the order or starting point of the arithmetic tasks from the series was changed (or so he said) to avoid habituation.
