Replace this text with your caption \textbf{Figure 1.} The reservoir pressure (dashed line) calculated assuming that the start of diastole is the time of minimum $\frac{dP}{dt}$ (circle) compared to the reservoir pressure (dotted line) calculated assuming that the start of diastole is the time of the minimum of the dicrotic notch (diamond). The measured pressure is shown as the solid line. $\bar{P}_{max}$ is the peak reservoir pressure, $\tau$ is the time constant and $P_\infty$ is the asymptotic pressure for the exponential pressure decay during diastole. The figures in brackets are the parameters calculated using the dicrotic notch as the start of diastole.
