Existing statistics like "beam availability" may be continued to be used, either to illustrate   how the facility developed over time, or if they are part of contracts.   But it would be possible at the same time to calculate values   for a standardizes standardized  definition of ``beam availability'' for all facilities that publish their common metrics data.
