\subsection{LNLS-UVX Statistics}  User Beam Time is scheduled only from Monday to Saturday morning and scheduling is done in a six-monthly basis.   Operating only in the week days allows some flexibility to provide compensation beam time on a weekly basis whenever it is necessary.  Weekends are usually used for machine studies or corrective maintenance. However they  can also  be used for to provide  Spontaneous User Time or evenfor  extra user beam period to compensate for problems in the beamlines. Even though it is included in the total User Time, that This spontaneous  extra period beam time  is not considered accounted  for in the  machine availability but not in the  reliability calculations.  Weekends calculation, even though every fault and beam loss event in the period  are usually used considered  for other  machine studies or corrective maintenance. performance parameters, like MTBF and MDT.  Although there is no scheduled User Reserve Time, Saturdays have usually been used for that purpose.
