We copied Table S2, which contains the relevant planetary and stellar parameters, into a .csv file. We extracted the completeness plot (see Fig. \ref{fig_petigura_s11}) by applying PlotDigitizer to the figure and selecting the centers of each cell within the grid. The completeness values for each grid cell were manually entered into a text file and checked by hand. In addition, we obtained a grid of completeness values directly from Petigura via email to compare results.
