In the mid-1990s, Steve Brandt and collaborators introduced an  analogue to the Isotropic Schwarzschild (Section \ref{ssec:iso})  solution. This is covered, for instance, in \cite{Brandt:1996si}. One  starts with Kerr written in Boyer-Lindquist coordinates (Section  given in terms of the original Boyer-Lindquist $R \equiv R_{BL}$:  R \equiv R_+ \cosh^2 \left( \frac{\eta}{2} \right) - R_- \sinh^2 \left( \frac{\eta}{2} \right) = M + \sqrt{M^2 - a^2} \cosh \eta,  where $R_{\pm} \equiv M \pm \sqrt{M^2 - a^2}$ are the outer and inner  horizons, respectively. With this new coordinate, the spatial metric  takes the form:  where we define the ``pseudo-conformal factor'' $\Psi_0$ and $q_0$ by
