Eric Nuss is associate professor (HDR) at Montpellier 2 University. After post-graduate diploma in theoretical Physics, he obtained his PhD (University of Montpellier 2) in 1997, investigating physics beyond standard model through the study of Gauge Boson Vector properties at the LHC. After two years of postdoctoral positions in the Cherenkov Array at Themis (CAT) experiment, he joined the LUPM (former GAM laboratory) in 2001. He worked in the CELESTE and AMS experiments before joining Fermi in 2004, with technical contributions to the calibration of the calorimeter. He was strongly involved in indirect Dark Matter searches through high energy gamma-ray measurements as well as Galactic sources studies, working in particular on sources located in the Galactic center vicinity.
