Take relevant classes
If you're still part of an academic institution you have access to a range of classes which will teach you something you didn't learn in graduate school. In your methods courses you learned ethnography and regression analysis? That's great but now it's time to learn about cap tables, series A, and convertible notes. If you mastered a Principal a Component Analysis in grad school you'll do just fine. As a postdoc at Harvard I sneaked into classes at HBS and attended the Harvard innovation lab. You can also watch Silicon Valley.
