Figure \ref{fig:log_stopping_power} shows the log scale of Figure \ref{fig:log_stopping_power}. At projectile velocities, $v < 0.1 ~\mathrm{a.u.}$ there is a deviation from linearity of the S_e for the channeling case. We attribute this observation to the crystalline structure of copper. The error bars (darkgreen crosses) are smaller than the point size and of the order or xx Eh/a0 or at about xx.  For projectile velocities, $v > 2.0 ~\mathrm{a.u.}$, the results of our S_e is not in good agreement with experiment. This is due to lack of core electron effects which are very important at high velocities. The dependence of S_e on core electrons for higher velocities have also been reported in literature by Scheife {\em et al}\cite{Schleife_2015}.
