Given the aforementioned limitations of the orbital based method and the exchange and correlation used it   is still reassuring to see agreement up to a few times the velocity of the maximum stopping.  We also see that at At  low velocity it is observed that  the off-channeling and channeling simulated results collapse into a common curve, this effect has been seen in the simulations before \cite{Correa_2012,Schleife_2015,Ullah_2015},   here these effect is less sensitive to the precise geometry of the trajectory,  as the geometric cross section increases. We speculate that this is because the effective binary   cross section increases making the energy loss less sensitive to the impact parameters averaging prescription.  %We also see that  at low velocity the off-channeling and channeling simulated results collapse into a common curve,   %this effect has been seen in the simulations before \cite{Correa_2012,Schleife_2015,Ullah_2015},   %at low velocity the  effect is less sensitive to the precise geometry of the trajectory, as %as  the geometric cross section increases.
