There was significant remaining concern about this source specifically. Luckily \cite{Bruhweiler_2003} used WFPC2 F170W guided STIS spectroscopy of the brightest stars in the cluster to get very accureate fluxes at 1300A. I have superimposed their slit over the WFPC2 image here:
