SMSD is a library written in Java for calculating maximum common subgraph (MCS) between small molecules. Therefore, it is able to find similarity/distance between two molecules. It is also used for screening purposes to hit molecules, which share a common subgraph (substructure) \cite{Rahman_2009}.
