Frankfurt is one of the major long-haul hubs of Europe. Karlsruhe, only a stone-throw away is hence accessible from all around the world.  \url{http://www.frankfurt-airport.de}  From Frankfurt Airport, Karlsruhe can be reached by train or by bus.
