\section{Abbreviating the ICAR}  Previous studies using the ICAR16 revealed that many subjects thought that it the test  took too long. Especially the rotation items required time to complete. This resulted in fewer smaller samples which is highly problematical for social science and has been so for decades.... blah blah blah, decades. As in most cases, there is a trade-off to be made between speed and accuracy. We estimate under these conditions that it's  better to use abbreviated scales to boost samples at the expense of construct validity.\\ The five tasks chosen for ICAR5 were based on the results of the  ICAR16 tested on Danish High School students (fortæl om hvordan det gik med gymnasieeleverne). students. The five tasks chosen where the five tasks, which combined had the highest predictability between their right/wrong answers, compared to the whole set of tasks outcome of right/wrong answers.
