So what do these plans mean for us here in Leighton-Linslade? As we are not relying on extracting resources from under the ground, the footprint of the UK's electricity grid must expand (Fig. \ref{fig:markel}). The projection indicates that three-thousands of the landscape must be devoted to the production on onshore wind. The amount of Britain devoted to forests and energy crops is much larger. All of the UK should do something to contribute towards these changes.
