Features to compare:  version control (none, some, great)  simultaneous editing  by document  by section  offline editing  formatting issues (each one gets, no, some, yes which means terrible, ok, and great)  fonts (e.g. Pages gets great--Google gets OK--Authorea gets pretty bad)  equations  sectioning  tables    ease of use    range of output formats, journal compatibility  citation handling  bibtex, endnote, ads, ??    commenting  word & Gdocs is much better than authorea b/c you can't comment on specific words (yet)  others I don't know? %comment    media formats that can be included  video  audio  interactive plots (2D)  interactive plots (3D)  drawing?    archiving?
