Random-access media like bound paper journals or paper newspapaers are currently undervalued, and chances are they will make a comeback, using e-paper where each "page" is re-purposable. Any thoughts about a "Paper of the Future" need to consider how media will serve us in the distant future. Full compatibility is not required, but readability should be. CE ideas: Current systems like LOCKSS and Portico are used by publishers/vendors per preservation purposes, personally, my motto is that discovery is the best path towards preservation, in other words, if it can be easily found and used, it has a better chance of survival. Open access is important (will there be any mention of it?), if it is machine readable/available in accessible formats and has an open CC license like CC0. You can also reference the Internet Archive and possibly perma.cc?
