Humans are writers.  From our dawn, as a the dawn of the human  species, we have always found the need to communicate and strived to find ways to do it. We do not know for sure [REF?], but sound was, communicate. Millions of years of evolution equipped  most likely, the first choice. We are built animals  with sound-making machines. Sound is easy to modulate and manipulate complex instruments  to send information efficiently. Although very local, at exchange information. While sharing news about threats is an efficient way of increasing anyone's chances of survival, for us, that has soon become the  least at interesting purpose of communication. Communication is  the beginning, it also was very effective, as fast key  to deliver open the gates of our brains  and absorb. The best in dangerous situations, which is probably why most mammals have evolved with vocal chords [REF?]. everything that goes on inside. Complex language that could accurately describe our abstract thoughts and feelings developed and that was the step that set us apart from other species.  But Yet,  that was not enough. At least, not for us, humans. While speaking evolved into complex languages, Spoken language had many limitations and  we felt imprisoned by the its  unbearable locality, in both locality. We needed a form of communication which would span through  space and time, time. Something which would make our finite and miniscule spark  of sound. We are an exploring species. Our genes evolved us existence immortal. The answer was yet  to make be written in stone, \href{http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Code_of_Hammurabi}{literally}, but when it was, we soon realized its power. Writing elevated  uscurious  and go beyond our limits. We wanted made us progress as a species. It was not simply a tool to make  our thoughts durable, but also a way for people from other places and times  to do that too explore new ideas  and we let them free by writing build on  them. Of Single minds created  the many forms of communication that animals share with us, they do not share writing [REF]. Writing is difficult, it requires more thinking as it is inspectable by anybody in seeds, but  the distant future collectivity could finally make them sprout  and in distant places. But that is what elevate us. bloom, thanks to writing.  The permanence of scripta was appealing Science is founded on writing. Progress  and comforting. It made us immortal. After all, what new discoveries  arewe, if not the result of our own thoughts? But the advantage was not only egoistical. Writing meant progress. Think of all the milestones of humans as  a species: they involve writing. The code of Hammurabi revolutionized the way we dealt with justice by explicitly putting on stone - literally - the law. Nobody could change it, slow  and it made its way to the present age. Populations fall, but writing stays. We know about history mainly thanks to preserved scripta. Writing outsmarts us. The knowledge of billions [how many more exactly?] of brains since Hammurabi's times in 1745 BC to today was added, step by step. All that experience is a source of knowledge steady process  whichany of the smartest people on Earth  could fully comprehend. And this is how writing allowed us to become smarter than not happen within  a single brain: by sharing it. We became lifetime. As Isaac Newton once stated in  a single spatio-temporal brain, getting more knowledgeable, word by word. And that letter to his rival Robert Hooke: \textit{If I have seen further, it  ishow everything we do suddendly becomes useful:  by writing it.  Science, too, is useful only when written. I am sure you are aware of "Stand standing  on theshoulder of giants" [WHO?], described for [EXPLAIN]. But then sometimes i think of those giants. They stood on  shoulders of giants, too. The giant is giants}. Those giants are  not just a smart person, single personalities,  but a smart person with all the experience, and in this case: science, collection of revisited  accumulated from the past. That could have not happened without writing. Unfortunately, writing may annoy most scientists and may feel dull thoughts  and monotonous. It is the last part ideas  of a research project, and we, singles, learn nothing many people  from it. But writing the past. Writing  is one of the most important part of research. Writing is how research,  itgets to the audience and sends a message across. But mainly, writing  is how science becomes validated, and what  makes you one of "the giants". \textit{"the giants"}.
