The team members enjoyed a very productive period of collaboration during the Galactic Archaeology and Precision Stellar Astrophysics program at KITP in 2015. That collaboration led to the development of a new asteroseismic technique allowing to measure internal magnetic fields in stars. This major breakthrough now allows to interpret the wealth of space-asteroseismic data and unveil the evolution of magnetism in stellar interiors. We are planning to meet again at KITP to investigate: 1) the existence of strong magnetic fields within stars on the red clump, 2) “Droopy-like” stars (stars allowing for a more precise measurement of their internal magnetic fields), 3) the occurrence of magnetic fields in cluster stars and 4) constrain the geometry of internal magnetic fields.
