\item No endless emails threads with multiple draft revisions   \end{enumerate}  These are some of the highlights. For me starting writing collaborative papers with Authorea meant a number of immediate improvements: first of all \textbf{my papers get written faster}. The other most important change is that I \textbf{do not need to exchange emails} with collaborators concerning the paper. All the action happens (and it's logged) on Authorea, including discussions about revisions and suggestions for improvement. But the most important thing that happen is something that I didn't expect. By getting rid the overhead that I previously accepted as a necessary, unavoidable part of the scientific writing process, something remarkable happened. I started enjoying much more writing. And I do not mean just publishing papers; that I had it before. I now appreciate spending time putting my science into words. Authorea did something amazing: it made me discover the pleasure of writing science. Together.
