Scientists, curious people, are always on the lookout for tools that can improve their workflows: one of these tools is \href{https://www.authorea.com}{Authorea}, a web-based collaborative writing platform. Authorea was created by scientists to improve the writing process, of scientists. On the web collaborative papers can be written faster and with no need for frequent emails. Also the web version of the articles can include data, code  and \href{https://www.authorea.com/users/3/articles/3904/_show_article}{interactive plots}. This helps increase the transparency and reproducibility of research.  Now it's true scientists are always interested in new technical developments, but they're also a bit hesitant when it comes to changing their work flow. We are aware that a lot of astronomers have tried Authorea a while back and were disappointed by the lack of some advanced LaTeX features (e.g., \href{https://www.authorea.com/users/2/articles/38778/_show_article}{deluxetables}). You were disappointed, you told us why, and we made the just implemented some big  changes to make you happy. Authorea now supports virtually every LaTeX package when used in "\href{https://www.authorea.com/users/5713/articles/28015/_show_article}{Power LaTeX user}" mode. So "Why should I use Authorea for my research?" It's a good question. Here some highlights that might guide that decision.
