\label{fig:microlmc}  Logarithm of surface gravity versus microturbulent velocity $\microt$ for the LMC early B-type stars studied by \citet{Hld+08}; only stars with $\vsini < 80\kms$ are considered here. Different symbols refer to different luminosity intervals, as explained in the legend.  The microturbulent velocities $\microt$ have typical uncertainties of about $\pm 5\kms$. For the surface gravity measurements   an uncertainty of $\pm 0.1$ should be considered.
