\section{Design \section{Mission Possible: Ubiquitous Social Goal Sharing}       \subsection{Design  and methodology} The study was performed with Year 5 schoolchildren ($n = 32$) from Bigyn Primary School in Llanelli. They were divided into 10 groups, where each group was assigned a uniquely distinguishable colour to represent their group on the ambient display. Flexible LED lighting was installed along the bookshelf in the front of the classroom.

For the missions, ideas were elicited directly from the schoolchildren, with a brainstorming activity performed at the school. These ideas were then refined by the project team and turned into four activity-based missions.  \subsection{Hardware \subsubsection{Hardware  design} Ambient displays located in a person's environment have been shown to change their behaviour by providing live feedback \cite{fan2012,harries2013}. These displays serve as decorative visual art pieces intended for reflection.

A DVD outlining the various missions, together with a Teacher’s Guide mission pack, was produced by our creative partner, Redhead Consultancy.  \subsection{Measurement \subsubsection{Measurement  of physical activity} The Fitbit Zip (figure \ref{fig:Fitbit}) contains a tri-axial accelerometer to record time-stamped physical activity data, including number of steps and physical activity according to four levels: sedentary, lightly active, fairly active and very active. It can be clipped to various locations on the body. For the study we asked participants to clip the device to the inside of their trouser pocket.

\subsection{Activity \subsubsection{Activity  design} A user-centred design approach was followed, by involving the children in the design of the activities themselves. The class was divided into four groups, where each group generated ideas for possible missions. These included TODO list. We selected feasible ideas from the lists, and generated descriptions of the missions based around a ``secret agent'' type theme:  \begin{itemize}

After securing the cooperation of the school, all Year 5 children were invited to take part via an information sheet and parents were provided with a consent form to complete if they want their child to participate. Further, a participant information sheet and assent form were completed by the child if they want to participate, prior to data collection. A PAQ-C health screening questionnaire [cite] was completed before and after the intervention. A standardised health screening questionnaire was completed by each child in the study, after which a field-based exercise test (bleep test) was performed to assess their fitness level.  Pupils other than those in Years 5 in the participating school were excluded, as well as those with lack of assent, medical conditions e.g. severe exercise induced asthma, uncontrolled epilepsy or injury/history that is not conducive to the study and any participant that usually requires medication during the school day or PE/play e.g. asthma inhaler or diabetic insulin injection, that did not bring it with them on the day of testing.
