The derived time series of laser sampling errors from Wollongong is shown in Figure \ref{fig:wg_lse}. The calculated laser sampling errors are consistently small and centred around 0. Two extended periods with higher scatter in the LSE occur in late 2014 to early 2015 and again in late 2015. The former corresponds to a period operating with a different laser, which appears to be less stable
that than its predecessor and replacement; these data have been retained. The latter period corresponds to a period in which a number of the InGaAs spectra are affected by an error resulting in an apparent loss of signal at higher wavenumbers (an apparent low-pass filter); this affected the O$_2$ band, and these spectra have been flagged as bad.
