\section{Comparison to satellite overpasses}
One of the primary purposes of TCCON is to validate satellite-based retrievals of greenhouse gas vertical abundances, and to ensure that these exhibit no temporal or spatial biases. In this section we present a brief comparison of Wollongong TCCON X$_{CO_2}$ and X$_{CH_4}$ to satellite retrievals from the GOSAT and OCO-2 satellite missions.
These comparisons are reported extensively in other locations for both satellites and for a variety of retrieval algorithms, so no in depth analysis is performed or discussed here.
