Replace this text Sample figure from an \ipython\ notebook illustrating the $\chi^2$ test. The notebook generates a ``realistic'' dataset (left) by constructing a linear relation  with your caption normally distributed errors. The middle panel does the same, but the errors are drawn from a distribution with $\sigma$ much less than the displayed errors. The dataset on the right contains two $5\sigma$ errors.
