As part of this research project wee have been able to setup the Mininet environment and had a number of switch configurations. The switch configurations allowed us to understand how Mininet works and how to write an OpenFlow switch controller.  Through this configuration we learned how the interaction works. As per the References section extensive research was done in understanding all the different aspects of the problem domain. The research in the areas of resource locality and resource sharing has been extensive and industry solutions like Mesos are available. This indicates that our research of combining the two will have a significant impact.   We ensured that a significant understanding was in place of prior research before simulation could be done. Combined with the time it took to setting up the Mininet environment we did not have time left for completing the simulations.
