In this section we introduce the properties of this tombstone and provide an analysis of their relative frequency in three sets of tombstones, tombstones of Xiyu, Penghu including Xiyu and Taiwan, Penghu and Jinmen. The purpose of this comparison is to allow to estimate the significance of a tombstone feature as an identifier of a Ming tombstone.
