Seeing that the number of GNPs inside cancerous cells depends upon the concentration of gold, \textit{i.e.}, $\bar N_{GNP}=\bar N_{GNP}(\rho)$, the LEM-AM formulation can be used to predict the response of cells at different GNPs concentrations.
Including the saturation modeling (equation \ref{saturation}) in the analytical formulation, the LEM-AM was used to reproduce the effect of varying GNPs concentrations. The ratio of survival at 0 and 4 Gy of gold relative to control as function gold concentration was calculated and fitted on experimental radiosensitization data to 160 kVp \cite{Jain_2011} (see figure \ref{concentration}). Using the same saturation curve obtained from the 160 kVp, reported in panel B, the effects at megavoltage energies were also extrapolated at different concentrations.
